Eric Nost, a financial services executive with over 30 years’ experience, leads Bay Banks’ wealth management subsidiary, VCB Financial Group, as President and CEO. Prior to Bay Banks, he managed a bank-owned investment firm, C&F Wealth Management Corp., building it to over $400 million in assets under management. A U.S. Navy veteran, Eric is a graduate of Virginia Military Institute, earned an MBA degree from Liberty University, and is a Certified Financial Planner. After completion of his active duty military service, Eric began his career in financial services at the former Richmond-based Wheat, First Securities, Inc. During that time, he also served as a reporter and stock market commentator for Richmond’s WRIC-TV8 News.

Russell Carter joins VCB Financial Group with over 21 years of trust and wealth management experience within financial institutions. A graduate of Howard University in Washington, D.C., he also received his Juris Doctor degree from Touro Law Center in Central Islip, New York.  Russell will be providing trust and wealth management services to businesses, charitable foundations, and individuals whether working with attorneys to develop an elaborate trust and estate plan or simply guiding clients through the challenging aspects of investing, preserving and managing assets.

Bruce McCook has a long history of providing guidance to Richmond clients who want to connect their values with their investments and finances. Bruce has over 35 years of investment and wealth management experience. He is a graduate of Longwood College with a BS in Business Administration. He is an Accredited Asset Managment Specialist that will be providing recommendations, and access to, investment and insurance strategies for indidviduals and businesses. Since 1983, Bruce has helped clients achieve their lifetime goals and objectives through comprehensive finanical planning with a focus on retirement income and investment planning.

A native of Lancaster County, Ed Pittman became associated with the Bank in 1995 in its wealth management department. He earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master's degree from Virginia Tech. He has received numerous recognitions in the investment arena, including being named a Top Investment Consultant based on total revenue for the year with BI Investments, LLC, ranking number one over 400 consultants and associates over a 5-state region. He's been recognized at least five times in Infinex’s Elite Advisor Group, a significant accomplishment based on the fact that Infinex is a national broker dealer of over 550 advisors and the Elite Advisor Group makes up less than 10% of all advisors. Serving his community, Ed is a member of the Lancaster County Economic Development Authority; a member and past president of the Upper Lancaster Ruritan Club; and a member of American Legion Post #86. He is also past president of the Lancaster/Northumberland Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors and has served on the boards of the Middle Peninsula/Northern Neck YMCA, the Mary Ball Washington Museum, the Lancaster County Education Foundation of Virginia and is a past committee member for Lancaster County Parks and Recreation. He is an active member of White Stone Baptist Church, where he serves as a deacon.

Tom Baker joins with over 30 years of experience in investments, insurance, personal planning, estate analysis, and charitable gift planning.  His work experience includes leadership positions at the Virginia Student Aid Foundation (now VAF), Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, SunTrust Bank, and the Rappahannock General Hospital Foundation. Tom is a graduate of St. Christopher’s School and the University of Virginia, and he earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from the American College in 2002. He holds FINRA securities licenses for Series 6 and 7, along with the Virginia Life and Health Insurance license. He is a member of the Virginia Gift Planning Council and the Charlottesville Area Planned Giving Council. He currently serves on the Planned Giving Committee of St. James’s Episcopal Church and has been a delegate to Diocesan Council. He is also on the national board of the Ridley Scholars program at the University of Virginia and the Board of Directors at Shrine Mont, a conference center of the episcopal Diocese of Virginia. He chairs the development committee for both entities.  Tom and his wife Catherine reside in Richmond and Ditchley, Virginia, and they have two children.

Mike earned a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Trust Management and Financial planning from Campbell University. With 19 years of experience in the Trust Management division, Mike is excited to lead the growth of VCB Trust in the Hampton Roads region. In his community he serves on the boards of Tabernacle Church of Norfolk, Fleet Park Little League, and Upward Basketball- Norfolk and Civitan Acres for the Disabled. He has also served in various capacities at Norfolk Christian Schools since 2007 including being the Varsity Baseball coach for many of those years.
